Family Sharing is an excellent feature of iCloud that enables a family member to share their purchased books, movies, apps, music and TV shows with all of the family members. Here is how to create an account for a kid below 13 years and add them to Family Sharing.

How to create a child account and add to Family Sharing on iPhone or iPad (iOS device)

1.    Open your iOS device 'Settings.'
2.    Touch on your 'Apple ID name.'
3.    Open 'Family Sharing.'
4.    Touch on 'Add a Family Member.'
5.    Touch 'Create an Account for Child,' on prompt.
6.    And touch 'Next' button.
7.    Enter the birthday details of your child.
8.    Then touch 'Next' button.
9.    Touch on 'Agree' button.
10.    Enter 'Security code.'
11.    Touch 'Next' button.
12.    Enter your child's first name.
13.    Then enter the last name.
14.    Touch 'Next' button.
15.    Enter and create an email for Apple ID.
16.    Touch 'Next' button.
17.    Touch 'Create' button, on prompt.
18.    Enter and create a password for Apple ID.
19.    Re-enter and verify the password.
20.    Then touch the 'Next' button.
21.    Select a security question.
22.    Enter the answer to the security question.
23.    And touch 'Next' button.
24.    Again select questions and enter answers, for two more times.
25.    Touch 'Ask to Buy' toggle switch to enable and disable.
26.    Then touch the 'Next' button.
27.    Select the location option on the next screen.
28.    Read the Game Center and iCloud Terms and Conditions.
29.    Touch 'Agree.'
30.    Again touch 'Agree,' on prompt.
31.    Now, read iTunes Terms and Conditions.
32.    Touch 'Agree.'
33.    Again touch 'Agree,' on prompt.

That's it! A child account has been created successfully and also added to Family Sharing.

How to create a child account and add to Family Sharing on Mac

1.    Open 'Apple ' menu.
2.    Open 'System Preferences.'
3.    Open 'iCloud'.
4.    Click on 'Manage Family' at left panel.
5.    Click the '+' button at the bottom of the Manage family menu.
6.    Click on 'Create an Account for Child,' on prompt.
7.    Then click on 'Continue.'
8.    Enter the birthday details of your child.
9.    Enter and create an email for Apple ID.
10.    Enter your child's name.
11.    Select 'Kid.'
12.    Enter and create a password for Apple ID.
13.    Re-enter and verify the password.
14.    After entering all, click 'Continue.'
15.    Click 'OK,' on prompt.
16.    Enter your credit card's CVV number.
17.    And click on 'Agree.'
18.    Select a security question.
19.    Enter the answer to the security question.
20.    Again select questions and enter answers, for two more times.
21.    Then click 'Continue.'
22.    Read the Game Center and iCloud Terms and Conditions.
23.    And click 'Agree.'
24.    Now, read iTunes Terms and Conditions.
25.    And click 'Agree.'
26.    Type your 'Password,' on prompt.
27.    Then click 'Continue.'
28.    At last, click 'Done.'

That's it! A child account has been created successfully and also added to Family Sharing.
