We highly recommended that once you want to reveal its password, you need to connect with your Wi-Fi connection.

Currently, if you are connected to the Wi-Fi network for which you just want to recover the password, then you need to follow the GUI method. And if the network credentials are saved in your device, and if your device is already connected to the internet, so follow the CMD method.

GUI Method:

Moreover, it is one of the simplest and easiest ways to view the saved password for any Wi-Fi network you are presently connected. To view the saved passwords, then you need to follow the given steps:

2.     Move towards “Network and Internet” option.
3.     Now, click to open “Network and sharing center” tab.
4.     In the Active Network option, set your Wi-Fi network. Then click on it to easily open new dialog box.
5.     On the dialog box, click on the   Wireless Properties, to launch a new dialog box.
6.     Alternatively, move towards the Security tab.  In the password field option, click on Show characters checkbox to easily reveal the password.

Finally, the whole process is completed successfully. Now you got the password that your computer system needs to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

CMD Method:

Formerly, if you are connected with any Wi-Fi network but currently not connected, then only you can apply or use this method. The CMD method also involves punching in few simple CMD commands to expose the password easily.

1.    Click to open a CMD Window.
2.     Type the below-given path:
·        netsh WLAN show profile
3.     Now, a list of all known Wi-Fi networks appears on the screen, and then you need to create a list of the profile name you want to view the saved passwords.
4.      Now, use the following command only to view the passwords easily.
·        netsh WLAN show profile “PROFILE_NAME” key=clear
5.     Click to Replace “Profile_Name” with the new name; you created in the list.

However, these commands above will show you a  lot of details about your Wi-Fi network. You can easily read through these details and also configuration or might be directly jumping into the Security Settings and also search for the field which is usually called a Key Content.
